Alameda County has been a leader in building the anti-trafficking movement in California. Dan discusses his role within the Consumer and Environmental Protection Division and the issue of labor trafficking in Alameda County. He provides examples of labor trafficking, describes a typical labor trafficking investigation, and why it is so difficult to prosecute labor trafficking. Lastly, Dan discusses how the Supply Chain Transparency Act can help in labor trafficking awareness.
