Dan discusses his role within the Consumer and Environmental Protection Division and the issue of labor trafficking in Alameda County. He provides examples of labor trafficking, describes a typical labor trafficking investigation, and why it is so difficult to prosecute labor trafficking. Lastly, Dan discusses how the Supply Chain Transparency Act can help in labor trafficking awareness.
